Revolution Rock Bar Closed

It's one of those things you must get used to as you get older. Things you used to know, places you used to visit will inevitably change in a way you don't like or worse close their doors for good. There will always be new places to grab a drink and meet up with friends, but there is something comforting about going to that place you are all familiar with. This may sound a bit deep for the closing of one bar, but I personally have had some memorable times at Revolution Rock Bar, as I am sure many of you have. I will never forget the time Gary Guyton walked in and we got to wish him good luck for that weekend's game.

Following their annual Halloween party, Revolution Rock Bar in Boston's Financial District will be permanently closing their doors. The used-to-be Saturday night favorite will be replaced by a new establishment called Julep Bar. Few details are available at this time, but the front page of revolutionrockbar.com has been changed to the intriguing 'Be The First To Know What's Next'. We will provide any updates that are available as soon as we know them.
